We have 18 places for children who are 4-6 years at the time of starting. We will collect from HSV, CBS de Spiegel, Anna Schmidt & the European school. Children can enjoy our in-house facilities and free of charge activities (piano, guitar, coding, drama, yoga, homework club & quiet reading) or join our hearty programme of outside activities including modern dance, gymnastics, ballet, swimming, marital arts, etc.
We use the International Baccalaureate framework to inform our general BSO afterschool curriculum.
The year is divided into 6 units(Annex 1 presents details)
1. Who we are
2. Where we are in place and Time
3. How we organize ourselves
4. Sharing the Planet
5. How the world works
6. How we express ourselves
The learner profiles aim to develop learners who are inquirers, thinkers, communicators, principled,
open mined, caring and risk takers. In each unit we address at least two of these learner profiles.
All our activities are based on London Bridge’s 4 main goals, which are
1. promoting competence
2. providing emotional security
3. promoting social competence
4. promoting moral competence
We use developmental milestones for 4 and 5 year olds to make sure that learning is on track.
Key areas in every unit include:
1. Communication and language
2. Physical development
3. Personal and emotional development
6. Understanding the world
7. Expressive arts and design
At London Bridge Kids Centre, we strive to guide students to be internationally minded life long learners.
